What does it cost?
Our prices vary by the category of the seat. VIP gamer seats will be $15 per session, standard gamer seats will be $12 per session, and viewer seats will be $3 per hour.
How long is a session?
Sessions last approximately one hour. You'll be given a code to unlock your PC when you arrive. Your PC will automatically lock 3 minutes before the end of your session, ensuring a smooth transition to the next gamer. Don't worry- you'll see a countdown come onto your screen when you have 10 minutes left in your session. You'll have plenty of time to close out your game or purchase more time before your PC locks.
What kind of tournaments will be held?
TopMod will feature events and tournaments of all sizes across a variety of game genres! Check back for the schedule or sign up for email alerts.
Can I play in a tournament?
Yes. Tournaments at TopMod will be open to the public. Our events calendar is coming soon. Sign up for email alerts to stay up to date!
Do I have to be a professional gamer to compete in tournaments?
TopMod tournaments are open to players of all ages and skill levels.
Are the gaming stations secure? Can I use my own gamertag when playing?
TopMod runs on its own secure network, so all player information is safe.
Can I livestream from my own channels inside the arena?
YES! We have Elgato Mk.2 Facecams and Stream Decks at 14 of the stations.
Will I be able to get food and drinks?
Absolutely, come on in and enjoy full Regal theater amenities with different selections of food and beverages, including a full bar for those 21+.
Can I bring in my own food or beverages?
No, we have to abide by Regal’s policies on this.
What if I don't play video games?
TopMod has something for everyone. Enjoy items from Regal’s food and beverage menu while you watch your friends and family compete on the big screen!
Are there staff members who can teach me how to play?
The TopMod staff will be happy to help in any way possible, from set-up to game tips, but playing will be your best way to learn!
What games can I play at the arena?

Can I make reservations for a private event? Or can I host my own?
Yes and Yes! To book an event, please reach out to us HERE.
Do you sell games at the arena? Is there merchandise?
TopMod does not sell games but you will have access to different online stores where you can purchase a license if one is required.
Is there a TopMod sponsored eSports team that I can try out for?
TopMod Essex Crossing currently does not have its own esports team, but there are a variety of teams in the area competing in multiple titles.
Is there an age limit?
You must be 13 or older to enter unless accompanied by a parent or guardian 18+ years of age (depending on content shown on stage). After 9 pm, anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian 18+ years old.
When content on stage is rated M-Mature by the ESRB, you must be 17 years of age or older unless accompanied by a parent or guardian that is 21+ years of age.
We do NOT show content that is rated A-Adults only by the ESRB.
Unattended children who are unaccompanied after 9 pm will be escorted to the security desk to wait for a parent or guardian. They will also be given two shots of espresso and a free puppy.
